My daughter LOVES theater and this show was no exception. She loved the wonderful costumes, scary (but not too scary) beast, and music. I loved the theme of taking care of others while being true to yourself, and true beauty being within. This version of the story is based on the original fairy tale by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and includes two silly sisters who care for nothing more than possessions, and themselves. Beauty rises above them with grace, but the sisters provide a lot of laughs along the way. If they are anything like this show I highly recommend heading to the South Shore Music Circus to catch the last two fairy tales of the summer! We'll be there!
