FARMINGTON, Utah — Several crews were called out to Lagoon Amusement Park Saturday morning after a fire broke out in one of the shops.

According to Lagoon spokesperson Adam Leishman, employees at the candy shop on Midway Main saw smoke coming from the building and called 911.

The South Davis Metro Fire Service Area was the first to arrive on scene.

Luckily, they were able to extinguish the flames quickly and “prevent spread to any adjacent structures,” according to a Facebook post from the department

Leishman said the candy shop sustained smoke and water damage, but an exact estimate of damages was not immediately available.

No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
