Bret and Brad Warren are highly sought-after songwriters and entertainers with nine No. 1 songs to their credit. They have written hits for Tim McGraw (“If You’re Reading This,” “Felt Good on My Lips,” “Highway Don’t Care”), Toby Keith (“Red Solo Cup”), Keith Urban (“Little Bit of Everything”), Faith Hill (“The Lucky One”), Martina McBride (“Anyway,” “Wrong Baby Wrong”), Dierks Bentley (“Feel That Fire”) and Jerrod Niemann (“Drink To That All Night”).
Brett and Brad have also had their songs recorded by Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Gary Allan, Tyler Farr, Billy Currington and other A-list country artists. In addition, the brothers have also written songs for rock artists including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nickelback, Hinder, Joss Stone and Boys Like Girls.
Harding first worked as an assistant to the band Linkin Park, made a demo tape, and was subsequently signed by EMI and Atlantic Records. After penning his first hit, Uncle Kracker’s single “Smile,” JT relocated to Nashville and joined the city’s songwriting community.
Harding has since written country No. 1’s “Sangria” by Blake Shelton, “Somewhere With You” by Kenny Chesney, “Alone With You” by Jake Owen, “Different For Girls” by Dierks Bentley and “Somewhere In My Car” by Keith Urban. He’s had other cuts by Billy Currington, Goo Goo Dolls, Five For Fighting, Matt Nathanson and Rascal Flatts.
This is the club’s 39th annual fundraising event, and proceeds will be used to further develop Perrysburg Rotary Community Park.
