I really enjoyed this episode because I love Scotland. Sadly, I have not been to Glasgow, but I have been to the Highlands. I think Tony captured it well when he said it's this landscape that doesn't feel like it's changed in even millions of years. When he went to the hunting retreat, the episode got even better. I find the whole idea of venison hunting interesting. It's very controlled in Scotland.

I am surprised about him saying Gil is one of the best essayist around. I thought Bourdain's admiration of Gil was interesting to say the least.

Now, where's my dram of whisky?
